MiniMarathon Results

You will find four-week "maintenance" schedules in the sidebar to the left. Repeat this schedule until we start again in July! After the first time through, you can skip the first week if you like. If you feel like you need a little bit of a break, go ahead and do the first week again. And let me know if you have questions!

Training group wraps up

Today was our last day of the 2010 training group! Not very many people showed up — I suspect many were enjoying a day of hard-earned sleeping in after racing every-other week recently. They did, however, miss some great weather along with pastries and coffee.


It was a good season for the training group — nearly everyone who signed up for the group was in regular attendance and completed the races. You can see all the Triple Crown finishers from our group in the previous post.


This year we had some new members and a lot of returning members, and it was great to have both. Hopefully we will see a lot of familiar faces when the group reunites in July — and hopefully some new ones, too!

Beginner:

Sunday & Monday: Off

Tuesday: 30 minute walk/slow jog

Wednesday: off or non-impact cross training

Thursday: 30 minute walk/slow jog

Friday: off

Saturday: 30 minute walk/run (little more effort than Tuesday/Thursday)


Intermediate:

Sunday: off

Monday: 30 minute walk or run

Tuesday: 30 minute run (Slow!)

Wednesday: off or non-impact cross training

Thursday: 30 minute run (Slow!)

Friday: off

Saturday: 30-45 minute walk/run (little more effort)


Advanced:

Sunday: off

Monday: 30 minute walk or run (Slow!)
