Spring Training starts Jan. 8!

Ready to get started? The annual Ken Combs Running Store Spring Training group will begin Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011. We'll meet at KCRS at 8 a.m. for our long runs, so get your tights and gloves out and ready!

Don't forget about Tuesday nights at Waggner High School -- interval workouts for intermediate and advanced runners, and just another opportunity for a group run for beginners. It's a great way to meet other runners! From a safety standpoint, Tuesdays also give you a chance to run with a group in a lit area.

This year we'll also have guest speakers coming by on Saturday mornings, including physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists and representatives from local non-profits like Team in Training and the American Cancer Society.

As a member of our training group, you'll receive 15% off shoes and 20% off apparel at Ken Combs or Happy Toes (our sister store) throughout the program.

Each Saturday we'll have coffee and snacks after the run, so you can hang out and warm up afterwards!

You can sign-up at Ken Combs or online here.

The cost of the 16-week program is $25, and includes training schedules, store discounts, a technical tee and refreshments!
